Pamela Renee has a BA in Humanities from the University of Pittsburgh, and for the past 21 years, has been working full-time as a Customer Service Representative for a local small business/manufacturing company. She’s also serving her third consecutive 3-year term on Neptune City Council.

Throughout the past nine years years on Council, she’s been instrumental (primarily through grants) in providing Neptune City with:

– Upgrades to Memorial Park (new boardwalk, new kayak racks, new gazebo, and newly replaced playground)
– Upgrades to Joe Freda Park (newly replaced playground equipment, steps, fencing, and a new wheelchair-accessible sidewalk)
– The creation of the brand new First Responders Park, showing appreciation to our First Responders & adding esthetic beauty to the town
– Ongoing upgrades to streets and ADA compliant sidewalks
– New security improvements to help keep the public safe and protective police equipment to support our police department (providing safety vests, body cameras, patrol vehicle cameras, surveillance video cameras on borough properties, continuously updated police radios, vehicles, and firearms, the NJ Police Accreditation Program, and the addition of Luke, our police support dog.
– New way of awarding Professional Services Contracts through a Fair and Open Process of Bidding (previously, professionals were appointed through an unfair and closed appointment process)
– Joining Sustainable Jersey (to help aid in environmental sustainability)
– New Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) contract with the Monmouth County SPCA (for humane feral cat population control)
– The Trex Plastic Bags for Benches program

Pamela is collaboratively working on the Holms A. Adams Park (Adams Field) renovation project and the old East Coast Ice property redevelopment project.

She is constantly advocating for electric charging stations, bike lanes, lower speed limits, traffic calming measures, lighted crosswalks, and lighted traffic signs.

Pamela served/serves as Police Commissioner, Fire Commissioner, Land Use Board Member, Council President, and has chaired and/or served/serves on each Council Committee.

She also volunteers with the Neptune City Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T) and is Neighborhood Watch Captain.

Councilperson Pamela Renee has the passion, courage, tenacity and drive to continue advocating for all Neptune City residents, via improved quality of life projects, stabilization of property taxes, transparent and environmentally sound economic development, and safe streets for everyone.
