Meet Aaron Williams, Candidate for Neptune City Council

Aaron Williams is a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran, Founder of the Asbury Park Tennis Initiative, and a dedicated community advocate who believes deeply in the power of bringing people together to build a stronger future.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, Aaron served honorably in the Marine Corps before moving to Neptune City, where he has lived for the past five years. During this time, he became Chair of the Veterans Committee, working to ensure that local service members and veterans receive the support and recognition they deserve.

Aaron earned his master’s degree in communication from Monmouth University and is committed to furthering his education by pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. At 37 years old, Aaron values family, equality, and community. Inspired by his late mother, who instilled in him the importance of community building, he has dedicated his life to uniting people and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Currently, Aarons serves as a Veteran Liaison within the Executive Branch of state government.

In addition, Aaron founded the Asbury Park Tennis Initiative to reintroduce the sport of tennis to the community. Through youth tennis lessons, the initiative builds confidence, leadership, and respect among young people, helping them grow as individuals and role models for their peers.

Aaron’s candidacy for Neptune City Council is driven by his belief that the community deserves a fresh voice and perspective—one rooted in leadership, service, and values passed down through generations.
